nmkaufman 49
Version Version 3.4.1.0. My music is organized into Artist > Album > "Track Number (00) - Track Name".mp3, and 100% tagged with Musicbrainz. I have a number of artists, Gorillaz in particular, where despite the tracks being tagged and organized, all of my songs (5 albums worth) are dumped into a single, random, album (D-sides in this case.) I had a number of non-album tracks in the Artist folder, which I've banished to a seperate non-album tracks folder but it made no difference. I've even gone so far as deleting my Music Library in Emby Server, and re-adding it from scratch with only Musicbrainz enabled, and Gorillaz ended up organized the exact same way. Is there anything that could be causing this behavior that I'm not thinking of? Thanks very much in advance.
Luke 37112
Hi there, can you please discuss a specific example? Thanks !
nmkaufman 49
I actually just figured it out. It was the non-album tracks in the root of the artist folder. \Music\Band\Album A\01 - Track 1.mp3 \Music\Band\Album A\02 - Track 2.mp3 \Music\Band\Album B\01 - Track 1.mp3 \Music\Band\Album B\02 - Track 2.mp3 \Music\Band\[non-album track].mp3 Even though Album A & Album B are organized & tagged correctly, Emby flips out when those [non-album tracks] are in the artist folder. \Music\Band\Album A\01 - Track 1.mp3 \Music\Band\Album A\02 - Track 2.mp3 \Music\Band\Album B\01 - Track 1.mp3 \Music\Band\Album B\02 - Track 2.mp3 \Music\[non-album tracks]\Band - [non-album track].mp3 Once I reorganized like this ^^, Emby eventually got itself sorted out. Bit of a mess, but I'm happy enough to stop thinking about it for now. Edited July 3, 2018 by nmkaufman
