njoak 23 Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 This refers to trailers for your movie collection. Not trailers for upcoming movies. I use the trailer plugin to fetch trailers. Lately I have come across several movies for which no trailer is downloaded. Usually they can however be found on youtube, and MBS does seem to already search for and find these. They usually show up in the web interface. When the trailer plugin fails to download a trailer I typically download one from youtube instead and add it to the movie folder. My request is that when the trailer plugin fails to find a trailer, a youtube trailer instead shows up in the MBT interface for the corresponding movie, just like the 'local trailer' would. I am ambiguous to wether it streams from youtube or downloads the video. It seems logical to me to use the search function that MBS apparently already has (and the trailer it finds).
