moviefan 184
I haven't been getting any RT info since June 1. OMDB is selected as the top provider for both of the libraries where my movies are. Is it working for everyone else?
Luke 37287
I just tested with the movie 127 hours and it seems to be working just fine.
moviefan 184
Is there something I can do to debug why it's not working for me? Log attached. At the very end i tried refreshing all metadata for Isle of Dogs which should be able to obtain an RT rating but was unsuccessful. Luke 37287
Not sure because when i search on the omdb website they have the rotten tomatoes value. you could try deleting the server's cache/omdb folder and then refresh the title again. perhaps they didn't have have a tomatoes value when it was first downloaded, and now they do have it. moviefan 184
How do I delete the servers cache/omdb folder? This seems like a strange reason due to all of the other movies having the issue but I am willing to give it a shot. Thanks.
Luke 37287
delete this folder C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\cache\omdb
moviefan 184
hmmmm. That folder doesn't actually seem to exist.
Luke 37287
In that case it doesn't appear that you have omdb enabled.
moviefan 184
Is there something else I need to do to enable it other than this: It was working for years and then all of the sudden stopped working last month without any config changes. Luke 37287
do you have other movie libraries?
moviefan 184
I have two movie libraries that would get RT ratings. Both are setup identically like in the picture above.
Happy2Play 8373
hmmmm. That folder doesn't actually seem to exist. There is obviously something wrong with this cache folder as it is relatively empty. You have no TMDB cache either, so no movies. Does the Dashboard show the default cache location? see my cache folder
Luke 37287
yea if you customized the cache folder then that would be the place instead.
moviefan 184
Ok you're right. I have a custom cache folder. So I located it, deleted it, restarted the server, and refreshed that same movie "Isle of Dogs" again. A .json file shows up in the omdb directory afterwards and it just says {"Response":"False","Episode":0} I tried deleting the file and redoing it again with the exact same results. Any thoughts on what the issue could be? Server log attached.
Solution Luke 37287 Posted June 28, 2018 Solution Share Posted June 28, 2018 It looks like omdb has a different IMDb id for that movie then what you have in your database. You can verify this on your own by searching on the omdb website. I haven't seen this happen before so this looks like a rare case to me.
moviefan 184
Thanks Luke. You helped to diagnose a pervasive issue that had been plaguing my library for several months.
