Problem with one specific channel

Hi guys,

 

I'm new to Emby so please forgive me until i'm up-to date on what logs are needed etc!

 

I'm in the progress of migrating my stuff over from Plex, been a long time Plex user however it's time to move on...

 

I'm using LiveTV. Everything is fine and dandy except for one particular channel. When tuning into that the screen will shift to match refresh rate, but then the circle will keep moving until the client asks me if i'd like to transcode, if i answer "Yes" - the channel is played back with transcoding.

 

Every other channel i've tried so far has been ok, however there are 49 so i'm not been through all of them. This particual channel is one we watch the most - so it's a bit annoying it doesnt just work.

 

It can direct play on the dashboard using Windows/Chrome and my Android phone(SGS9+) no issues at all which leads me to believe this to be a AndroidTV issue?

 

My primary driver is a Shield TV, but i've also tested it using my Sony AndroidTV which results in the same.

 

Everything is up-to-date.

 

This is the part where i start the stream there is only one error message, before the server starts to transcode the error is:

And that is going to be your answer for now I'm afraid.  Some channel content that should be able to direct stream simply has a problem in the other player.  We don't know why yet but it must be related to headers or formatting or something like that.

That's fine, I'm new to emby so are there any drawbacks doing so?
