MndWrp 99
Hello Emby team. I currently run the server on a ReadyNas 314 When i browse my libraries, at random points, the server will toggle off. The only repro i was able to find is entering my movies library (not huge, about 350 items) and try to scroll as quickly as i can from a to z... at some point the server simply crashes. i crashed it with this repro, using a Shield and via the web app. i attached a log... MndWrp 99
Can you try turning off the servers dlna features? Thanks. I unchecked everything in the dlna section, restarted the server (because why not) and still crashed it fairly easily. MndWrp 99
Can you try deleting all of them? Thanks. fully deleting them or simply disabling the "group into collections" option?
Luke 36817
Well you could start with disabling the grouping setting and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
MndWrp 99
disabling = the same deleting = the same as strange as that may sound... i noticed that everything loads up in the movie section until i get to the movies beginning with P for some reason... when i get to the Ps asending or descending is when the crash happens... i also run a win10 server and my Ps load fine on it... logs Log_a.txt Log_b.txt Edited June 8, 2018 by MndWrp
MndWrp 99
Well you could start with disabling the grouping setting and see if that makes a difference. Thanks. The collections don't seem to be the culprit either... i am however very intrigued by my previous post related to the P section of my library... i basically enter the movie library, hit the P on the side and it crashes the server instantly, with maybe half my movies starting with P not displaying a poster
MndWrp 99
well, i ignored the movie "Paul" and the server doesnt seem so crashy now. I still cannot display a few P posters but i can browse around nicely now without a crash. What the actual problem is with "Paul" might be good to know but i have no idea.... yaay some progress... MndWrp 99
So i moved Paul to another drive and it loads fine now, no crashes yet.... Must have been a corrupted folder or something ?? @Luke: Thanks for the help! Emby support rules!
Luke 36817
It could have been that yes. You may want to scan the hard drive for a possible drive failure. Thanks.
