Autoorganise - simplify remediation when season/episode not detected

If AO could flag the current latest season/episode number in stored library for the selected/detected show, then that would help remediation as 9/10 you want to  specify the next one in the list.

thanks

Sorry, why would it help? Just trying to understand this request. Thanks.

sure, and ill expand it more..

often eg with documentaries when ao can not autodetect season & episode number because they do not exist in file name,  the season and episode is known by the user as "latest season" "latest episode",

knowing the answer to the question what is the current season and episode, can help provide the information without switching emby interface or checking the file system.

even better if

latest season number - last stored episode number - title and

latest season number - last stored episode number+1 - title

are available on provider, show those

or more simply? just a popout to the shows emby object to quickly check.

if ao were to default the season and episode number field values to latest season and next episode number even better, perhaps in a different color to indicate that they have been surmised rather than detected.

documentaries with 50+ years and 4 digit seasons would benefit especially.

assuming its not to difficult to show the info, its a free bit of a help to users organising files..doesnt force anyone to use it.

not 100% thought through but there are ways to simplify manual organisation when not attributes not auto detected..
