vangeliis 8
Specs: Samsung 4K TV (mu6470 uk model) supports 60fps 12bit ycbcr 4:2:2, UHD colour for HDMI is enabled. Nvidia shield tv: hdmi set to "recommended" 4k 59.94Hz YCbCr 4:2:0 10bit Rec 2020 media: 4K, 23.976 fps, 10bit BT.2020 4:2:0 Emby android tv app Connection: Shield TV-->Receiver (HDCP2.2)-->TV all hdmi cables are hi-speed with ethernet With the above settings the video playback is choppy. When I change the shield hdmi settings to 23.976 or enable "auto frame rate" in emby the video plays perfectly. Why with the recommended shield hdmi settings the video playback is choppy? Anybody else experiencing the same? Thanks
mastrmind11 717
because of the framerate. just put it on auto frame rate and it'll switch to the proper rate for each video, which you stated already works.
vangeliis 8
Quick update: After "factory" resetting both the TV and the shield and re-configuring the ARC from scratch everything is back to normal and video playback is smooth while playing a 23.976fps video. The shield is configured to it's recommended HDMI setting and "adjust frame rate" is off. Moreover I was able to restore the unlock for my Emby Android TV app. Happy days!!
