My admin account has been locked out of everything locally. I can't access browse library, configure library, etc.. I can however access through Emby Connect webpage. Any ideas? W10. 0plus6 3 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share Posted May 29, 2018 Right click Emby Server icon in toolbar and choose configure. I get the please sign in. Choose manual login and enter user and password that works with Emby connect. I receive th e error "Invalid username and password. Please try again." Changing password, right click Emby icon in toolbar and choose configure. I get please sign in. Here I choose "Forgot password". Enter username on next screen and choose submit. Then follow the directions stating to go here: "C:\Users\Desktop\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\passwordreset.txt" and follow directions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

0plus6 3 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share Posted May 29, 2018 (edited) Entered the pin and it tells me passwords have been reset. To login, sign in with a blank password. From here nothing changes. All my users same passwords work. My admin login is still invalid UNLESS I login through Emby Connect. My login works fine with my Android app. Again through Emby Connect. 0plus6 3 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share Posted May 29, 2018 Fixed. This is how: Found user profile for hidden admin. Opened the policy.xml file and edit the line <IsHidden>true</IsHidden> to "false". Restart server. Admin user account was now visible and logged in no problem from local machine. Went back into admin user settings and ticked the "Hide this user from login screens" and saved. All back to normal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
