-SR- 3
Working again for both dvd and blu ray in latest version! Thank you! However when selecting subtitles for dvd the app keeps looping. With blu ray this works. Any ideas on subtitle issue?
Luke 37132
Hi, unfortunately I'm not sure, and I'm saying that because playback of folder rips on the mobile apps is purely experimental (I trust you've been seeing the warnings). if you provide the server and ffmpeg log maybe i'll be able to spot something: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Aside from that I would suggest converting to mkv for the best experience possible. Thanks !

Luke 37132
As a test can you try refreshing the metadata of that title from the detail screen, and then see if that makes any difference? thanks.
-SR- 3
did refresh but still same behaviour, as soon as I select subtitle movie freezes, if I put subtitles back to off it restarts playing
Luke 37132
Ok. Keep in mind this folder rip playback is only experimental, so we're not always going to have an answer for every problem. My general suggestion is to convert these to mkv for a better experience. However, for this title, it looks like there's only a single vob file anyway, so you don't even need to convert to mkv. Just get rid of the whole video_ts folder structure and keep the VTS_01_1.VOB file. If you do this then you'll get a better playback experience across all emby apps. -SR- 3
ok, thanks for the help!
Luke 37132
And if more of your dvd & bluray folders are composed of only a single vob or m2ts, i would strongly suggest doing the same thing for those as well.
