Simaryp 3
Every time I start my HTPC Emby for Kodi will start an update of the data base that lasts roughly 1-2 minutes. In principle that is a good behavior. But currently I have a problem with that. I want to create a debug log. But the logs become always several MB in size because of the emby updates. Is there some possibility to deactivate the update? Deactivating the addon is not a solution since I want to start some playback.
Angelblue05 4130
Let the sync complete? Do you have the Kodi companion installed and enabled to have faster startup times?
Simaryp 3
Hmm I want to do the following. Activate Debug logging, restart the PC, do some test, restart and deactivate it. The log I create between the restarts becomes extremely big because of the sync. It would be really handy if I could deactivate syncing. I don't have the Kodi companion installed. I also don't need faster start up times. During normal everyday usage this is not a problem. Also the sync happens in the background and does'nt block me from anything. Solution Angelblue05 4130 Posted May 19, 2018 Solution Share Posted May 19, 2018 Add a long startup delay to the add-on? In the add-on settings > advanced > delay startup.
