jasonwilliams 29
Hello, I have one problem channel when I try to play it over an Emby Connect connection. It works fine on my LAN. I've tried multiple external connections and no matter how fast, this one channel stutters. I've also try lowering the resolution to the minimum and it makes no diff. I can send the M3U for this channel over PM if you need it. I have attached the FFMPEG log. Thanks, Jason FFMPEG.txt
Luke 37065
And the emby server log? What emby app are you playing with?
jasonwilliams 29
Sorry I've attached the server log. For the logs I sent, I was using ET, but this also happens when using the Web Client. Server.txt
Luke 37065
Try turning off nvenc and see if that helps. Thanks.
jasonwilliams 29
That worked. Thank you.
jasonwilliams 29
Hi Luke - just a quick follow up q. I notice the CPU load is quite a bit higher with that turned off. Should I be using one of the other decoders? My video card is an Nvidia GTX960. Thanks again for solving the problem!
Luke 37065
No that's the right one, it's just that it might not work perfectly with all media.
jasonwilliams 29
Gotcha. Thus the "Experimental" tag. Thanks for all the help!
