New User - Can not change password

I just created (another) user and I can login without a password.

 

Then, I tried to change its password: Both using the administration user panel as well as logging in as the new user and using the profile panel.

 

Both ways I receive: "Login Fehler" "Falscher Benutzername oder Passwort. Bitte versuche es noch einmal."
 

The server log shows:

Originally tested with Firefox & Firefox Mobile

 

Now tested with Chrome and it worked as expected

Thanks. You probably have a setting or extension in firefox that is causing this.
