skywalka 0
Hi guys, I often have "No Items" in Media Browser Classic but there are many items that should be available. I need to manually "Scan Media Library" in the server so my items will then return. I've noticed this occurs after restarting the Server because of an update. I'm using the latest versions of Classic and Server. Thanks.
ebr 14929
I'm sorry but there is virtually nothing we can do to help you with that kind of report. How to report a problem
skywalka 0
That's a lot of work. It would be good if MB could compile this information. MediaCenterMaster does this very well via it's "Help-Support Information" menu.
Yogi 367
Yeh but this is the way it is at the moment and there is more important things to do on the roadmap. If you need help you will need to give more info as detailed in the post ebr linked to.
skywalka 0
Since my original post there has been at least 2 server updates. The problem remains. The problem also occurs when a plugin is updated. The problem occurs with MB Classic and MB Theatre. Server: Version 3.0.5211.41935 MB Classic 3.0.140.0 3-14.1 I will post log files when the problem occurs again.
skywalka 0
The problem just re-occurred but there was no update. Since the original post "No Items" is no longer displayed. Instead some of my library's "Media Folders" are but not all. I think this is because I added more "Media Folders" since the original post. The visible "Media Folders" don't contain everything they should until I manually "Scan Media Library". skywalka 0
So MediaBrowser updated itself and some plugins and asked me to restart it. After that the Media Folders that are visible are: Downloads (from only 1 of 2 folders on C drive) Random (from D drive) Television (from 2 folders, one on C drive the other on D drive) Trailers (from the trailers plugin)
Luke 37112
there's some minor re-org going on in the web client on the dev branch. if this is a problem you probably want to reinstall the beta from the website.
