Problem with Identifying Artist From Album with Subfolders present

Hey folks

 

I've discovered that if you have an artist in your music folder with a double/triple or whatever album, and the individual discs are in separate subfolders... like this

 

D:\Music\Artist\Album\CD1

D:\Music\Artist\Album\CD2

 

Then the metadata is being grabbed identifying the album title as the artist (see pic 1). This cannot be corrected by changing the metadata, as it always reverts to the previous, even if you try deleting everything and manually entering it.

 

If all of the music files are in a single folder

 

D:\music\Artist\Album\

 

and all of the music files have the ID tags correctly identifying  each track and what disc it is from... The metadata is not populating that data into the relevant fields. I have to do this manually (see pic 2)

 

Lastly - Some images are being added in the wrong shape, even though these images stored in the music/artist/folder.jpg are in the non squished ratio. It's putting them into the wrong ratio, and uploading them fresh isn't correcting the problem. You actually have to edit the image itself and change the size/shape... make it a little more widescreenish for example, and then upload it again before it will correct it. (see pic 3)
