Wake on Lan on MacOS High Sierra

I want to move my old Mac downstairs to use as a media server. Plex will not wake on lan and I'm struggling to find information on whether Emby is capable of WoL running on a Mac. Can anyone identify if they are able to do this or if Emby also will not wake from a device call (such as from a Roku)?

Hi, welcome. Yes our Android app and windows store app can wake the server. It will also be in the next release of our iOS app and gradually we will roll out to all apps.

Thanks for the quick feedback, Luke. What I'm taking from this is, "Yes, in some cases. No, in most others." Or at least from what I am reading, the Android/Windows apps do wake the server, but the iOS app will be soon, and who knows when the Roku app gets updated. Is that the correct reading?
