Teddy 51
For several days I have the problem that the index of Actor does not work only for a folder with over 2000 movies when index for performer, shows 0 Performer Items if the theme is for example Chocolate. The others Index working well for that directory (Directors, Genres.....) My other movie folders has not have this problem. I refresh the directory from Dashboard but doesn't fix problem. Is there a file or something related where handle the performer Index issue for that folder? Cheers
Solution ebr 14945 Posted March 20, 2014 Solution Share Posted March 20, 2014 This is due to a change on the server. It now takes significantly longer for people requests than it did before (the server is favoring memory usage over performance in this case). So, on something that big, I'm sure the request is timing out. I'm not sure what to do about this yet.
Teddy 51
Thanks to quick answer ebr. You're right, the building index for performer expends more time to show the artists but when finished shows 0 artists. I left for a while the screen showing 0 artists but does not change.I will restore another copy version of MBS and MBC to see if the behavior changes. Teddy 51
ebr, I reinstalled a backup on 12 March and as you say is a problem MBServer. The restored backup had the Beta released on March 16 (not problem with the building) but when I updated to version DEV 3.0.5192.19560 the problem of "index buiding on performer" back. But is not a perfomance issue because when finish the building shows 0 artist. I hope fix it in next releases. ebr 14945
It is performance. The server now takes so long to respond that it times out.
Teddy 51
Thanks to clarify it. MBS spent much time in the end gives timeout and no results.
