mastrmind11 717
is it usb powered or are you missing the power cord? check that the usb cable is good. google the make and model and see if it requires a specific windows driver.
all4dom 73
It's is usb & I have it plugged into windows but nothing is happening. It's a cheap knock off that he bought at a flea market. Nothing else came with it. Is there a generic app that I can download?

mastrmind11 717
Well if that's the case, that's not a webcam that plugs into a computer. The USB cable that came is likely the power cord which means there should be another piece that plugs into the wall (to which you plug the USB cable) like almost every smartphone in the modern world today. Read the manual, and if it's missing one, throw the camera in the garbage because it will be useless w/o one.
