lince55 0
I have a Samsung series UN40JU6000 UHD smart tv. I want to look at the movies stored in my pc. The video files are in its folders with the spanish Subtittle file (a subtitle file with the same name as the video file) example: Video file: Homeland.mkv Subtittle file: Homeland.srt When I try to look at the film in my TV and select the subtittle, the srt file appears as "und", and when I select it, the subtittles are in English In other media server soft and in my Dbico hardware media streamer, the subtitle is displayed fine in the TV. How I can solve this problem? Thanks in advance Edited February 14, 2018 by lince55
FrostByte 5055
Do you have multiple subtitle files in the folder? Maybe try naming your subtitles like in the wiki. Also what are your app settings for subtitles? https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Subtitles Try: Homeland.spa.srt Homeland.spa.forced.srt Edited February 15, 2018 by FrostByte
Luke 37167
Frostbyte is correct. Without the ".spa" identifier, there is no way for the server to know that the subtitles are spanish. If you rename them, then you won't see the und anymore.
