Have also been experiencing this problem, ever since I started using Emby, so like October 2017?

TV: Samsung UE55KS7000

Firmware version: 1220.8

Emby Server version: 3.4.1.0

Setup: DLNA from Emby server to TV, direct play, no transcoding, prefer dutch subtitles

There should be a fix for this soon.  It only seems to affect K series models.  Thanks

Thats fanatastic news to hear! Does launched mean its available? Or that it's been pushed to Samsung waiting for approval?  Seems like the app was updated and the issue is fixed! :D

Ok so I'm not 100% sure if this is an issue on my end or not(added new router in the network) but I don't think it is?

Since the update I notice that it's been skipping ahead like 10-30seconds at random moments. It's very weird behavior that is only happening in Emby.

I initially only checked whether the subs were working and I was doing some timescrolling myself so I didn't pay much attention to the skipping but it seems to be doing it on its own now.

So in detail this is whats happening;

Play file

File plays for 15 seconds

Slight stutter

File starts playing again at 35seconds(skipped 20 seconds)

Plays for x seconds

Slight stutter

File starts at 1m30secs(skipped again)

etc...
