shocker 113
Hello, I'm trying to understand how emby works in terms of SSL as I'm encountering some limitations/issues (sorry I'm new to Emby). This is my setup Server 1 - Nginx server - Public1 IP - SSL certificate for emby.domain.tld - NGINX points to emby server on HTTP Everything is ok Server 2 Emby server is hosted here - Public2 IP - Another SSL certificate for emby1.domain.tld - Certificated added to emby - Entire LAN excluded - Using standard ports - For external domain should I user emby1.domain.tld or emby.domain.tld ? Currently is emby1.domain.tld. Everyting is ok except when I enforce to use SSL If I enable: Require https for external connections then my NGINX server cannot connect to HTTP anymore even if it's added into the LAN networks. Is this a limitation or I'm doing something wrong? What I'm trying to achieve here is to have all my connections towards emby with SSL (even via emby connect) and to use as single point of access the nginx url emby.domain.tld. P.S. I can make nginx to use SSL in order to connect to emby but this is not what I want. Thanks!
