swyn 0
I have been having some issues with https access to my Emby Docker install (emby/embyserver). This has been going on for a while in the dotnetcore beta build and also the new netcore roll out a few days ago. The connection will time out and parts of the page will often not load at all. There are some errors recorded in the log. Performance is excellent when not using https. The certificate I am using is from Comodo and shows up correctly on the rare occasion the page will load. Log file attached and no errors occur when using http only and happens during both local and remote access. Thank you! emby_https.txt Edited January 24, 2018 by swyn
Solution Luke 37216 Posted January 24, 2018 Solution Share Posted January 24, 2018 do you know what TLS version your cert is?
swyn 0
It's an x509v3 SHA256 RSA 2048 cert. For the heck of it, I reissued the certificate with RSA 4096. It also shows x509v3 SHA256 but for some reason, the errors are gone with the reissued cert. Very odd since I haven't had any problems in the past. I think this is resolved. Thank you very much!
