rock31482 0
Hi guys, I have recently moved from a Windows Emby Server to a Ubuntu Emby Server running on a VM. On the android app it runs flawlessly. I have set up the video libraries on the Emby Server using the shared folders configured in VMWARE from windows When playing a video, it is very choppy. Apart from that when a video is stopped, it shows as completed instead of showing a resume for the video. Can someone help me with this issue? If any logs are needed, can you please let me know where the ubuntu path is for those? I attached a couple of logs from the server. Thanks, All help will be appreciated. server-63651974650.txt ffmpeg-transcode-50171624-2d70-4120-b375-3a35db540f6b.txt Edited January 19, 2018 by rock31482

rock31482 0
Is this the wrong spot for the post? Sorry new to this. When playing a video it runs for 5-6 seconds and then says loading. Resume is not working for videos.
Luke 37218
hi @@rock31482, it looks like there's no media info for this file. can you try refreshing it from the web app detail screen using the 3-dot menu? then give it a few seconds and then try to play it again. However, when did you setup this installation? Because you're using our older install package. If you follow the instructions on our website: https://emby.media/download.html You'll get our newer install package. Transitioning at this point would require an uninstall, reinstall though. Thanks.
