When I crated my library again, I really see the thumbnail works right, but when I click "Refresh metadata", the thumbnail changed to the sub-folder's primary. A.png B.png C.png D.png E.png It seems like the thumbnails generated by the first scan are correct when creating new libraries or adding new files to libraries. but there are still problems with the thumbnails generated by refreshing metadata. @@Luke Please don't remove this from your fix list Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

From a New library standpoint in 4.6 it worked as expected, but from a existing library adding my test images I get image from first subfolder instead of image in parent folder as CatSama describes. Images 1-5 all at there own level with 1 being parent. Also doing a Refresh all replace image changes each folder level up one level, so when it reaches the last sub folder all folders have the same image.
