knuckle 0 Posted January 15, 2018 Share Posted January 15, 2018 I am revisiting Emby and have found that live tv ( IPTV) requires the transcoder for smooth video play back on android where on Roku it does not.I can not allow video transcoding from the server as FFmpeg dogs my system. I have an IPTV provider I place the link in emby -- I have "Allow video playback that requires transcoding" unchecked in my user profile Roku plays every channel in the IPTV smooth as silk and android buffers and stutters -- enable transcoding and Android plays every thing -- do not want it transcoding -- Android is perfectly capable of playing these same channels in Perfect Player so my guess something screwy with Emby android app Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
