Spaceboy 2508
i've got a few movies where now i have multiple versions. i tried watching one last night but despite it appearing fine in Android TV, i was asked which version i would like to play or if i wanted emby to decide for me, and no matter which i chose playback failed. i was able to start it by choosing chapter 1 from lower down and the 4k version started. if i let emby choose for me or select the 4k version the OSD flashed up to say it was trying to play the local trailer for the same movie which is in the same folder as the movies. this failed due to too many errors. Cinema mode is on but i'm not sure why it would choose the trailer for that movie or not skip onto the second trailer, the custom intro and the movie if just that video file fails. so i'm not sure its that. if i try the 720p version the app crashes and i get a black screen. both versions play fine in the webclient apart from this https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/54901-cinema-mode-trailers-dont-play/ but i don't think the two are related Edited January 14, 2018 by Spaceboy
ebr 14975
both versions play fine in the webclient apart from this https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/54901-cinema-mode-trailers-dont-play/ but i don't think the two are related Sounds to me like it is definitely related to that and not multiple versions at all. If you turn off Cinema mode in the app, does it work properly?
