Hey Luke,

Have you looked at, or heard of, The Internet Video Archive? They claim to be the largest video trailer site and they have an API that can be used. For movies/tv you can even use the IMDB id that you are already using to find the trailer. For games you'll probably need to use the API to do a search first (I guess you can add that to the meta grabber function on add)

May be able to fill in some of the gaps in the current trailer fetcher and also add some games.

There are two ways to get the video on your site now that you have ingested the data. The first option is to use the Video API to create links to the content for use inside your own player.

That makes it sound like they don't technically support/allow downloading but there really isn't a difference between streaming the file for playback and downloading it. They do support HTML5 so I believe the files are going to be h264 encoded mp4. (and maybe webm as a second option) just so there are less versions needed for the HTML5 and Flash players.

If we can't download them at all it would still be a good resource for streaming trailers as they seem to have things that we don't currently get trailers for (games and music, do you currently get tv trailers? They have those too)
