Alopez18 0 Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 hi there i made the move to Emby due to the fact it has users and i have kids who need to learn to control tech without me gettin their films and tv shows up for them.. my question is Why cant i download and install the emby app on my childrens 5th gen (G000 KL02 7066 000T) i've managed to get a server up and running and works on my samsung tv like a charm its just the children's tablets im struggling with. ..... just so people know in advance my children use freetime so i intended to share the app to their side of the tablet logged into their users on emby but apparently the app is not compatible with thier version of fire tablet which is wrong as ive seen a few people post from a 5th gen tablet.. any help regarding this last hurdle of mine would be much appreciated Many thanks in advance Aaron. What I would suggest in the meantime is opening up our online web app from http://app.emby.media You can bookmark this app to the homescreen to make it run fullscreen and your kids will probably never notice a difference.
