Hi All,

1) I was attempting to play a movie, on my Roku device,  that is located on my Ubuntu 16.04 server. The name of the movie is:

      ORSON_WELLS_MAGICIAN-001.avi

2) The error that I get is:

VIDEO ERROR

'There was an error in the HTTP response.  This could mean that malformed HTTP headers or an HTTP error code was returned"

3) A screenshot of the error message is attached

4) Sent the log to the developers, electronically, at 3:56pm Eastern time

5) The server version that is indicated on the dashboard is: Version 3.2.60.0 and it's running on port:

       Running on http port 8096.

6) The name of the Emby user on the local server is: gregg

More Details:

Just installed Emby today on my Ubuntu 16.04 server.  The intent is to  watch movies and listen to music stored on the server via my Roku.I have one movie that is a .avi and another that is a .vob. I have acceleration off and transcoding enabled.

I fired up the Roku and added Emby, I got on Emby and it sees my server and even sees the movies I have on the server, but when I go to play one on the Roku, it says ;

VIDEO ERROR

'There was an error in the HTTP response.  This could mean that malformed HTTP headers or an HTTP error code was returned"

When I try to view a movie on my NON-server web page via the Emy app I get:

"No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details."

1) Is the source of these two errors the same?

2) Any clue as to the issue and what to do about it?

thanks!
