I've done the backup/restore using the plugin successfully. Changed the library paths as appropriate to local volumes with shared network folder definitions as appropriate. I'm feeling good except the initial scan all libraries seems to hang. At least that's what I'm guessing as it gets to 68.4% for example on the dashboard and doesn't progress past that. I see something near the bottom of the log, but no idea how to interperate the info. Can someone please take a look and give me some assistance in getting it to complete the scan? thx in advance! Luke 37251 Posted December 20, 2017 Share Posted December 20, 2017 Hi, this log contains scanning activity all the way through so there is no evidence that it has hung. To improve the performance of your library scan consider removing the kodi sync plugin. Additionally, it looks like you enabled downloading images in advance. As I said, I'm guessing based on the percent complete not changing for significant length of time. Don't mind it taking a loonggg time to sync, Just wish it would/could blink now and then so I know it's still alive. Seeing 90% complete for 3 hours feels wrong, even if it's not! In checking the log I did notice it was time stamping activity all along, but then I saw an error report near the end so thought I'd ask if was just in a death loop. We believe it's an underlying Mono issue, as opposed to Synology specific. It's aggravated by large libraries and/or lots of changes, we're expecting it to be resolved when we release the .NET Core version of Emby Server for Synology/XPEnology next year. I've turned off pre-fetching images in an attempt to get through one scan, but I'm still getting errors that "seem" to indicate a lot of restarting.... but I'm stupid and know not what these error messages mean, something seems to be in a loop from this idiots perspective.
