i have this annoying problem with android tv app version 1.5.17g that the sounds stutters or cuts out all the time and it also desyncs.

i have attached a server log.

it is when playing the file "a life earned".

works fine with build in Chromecast and dlna.

server version 3.2.40.0

I have some sound issues as well - after unpause my soundbar is not playing all channels (eg no central = no dubbing). Will attach logs later since I think that I'll be reporting errors with refresh rate switching on shield as well.

Hi.  Can you please try updating your server to the latest version by installing from the website over top of your current installation?

Thanks.

Since I upgraded the server to 3.2.50 and then 3.2.60 I'm also having video/audio sync problems on my Shield with one video that used to work fine. Every other video I've tried seems to be completely in sync.

The video is Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Hi.  What device is this happening on?

Can you please reproduce the problem and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app (please remember to come here and provide the requested information).

Yes it is a sony Android TV KD49X8305CBAE.

I will reproduce the error and report back.

Ah, okay.  Did this happen on a Dolby Digital track?

Can you try the beta version of the app?

So log is sent via app.

1. The sounds stutters/disappears every 10-15 second.

2. file name:

3. Log sent 22.32

4. Emby user hemandk

Yes it is a Dolby track and I'm already running the beta.

Interesting, it is actually playing in VLC and it is mixing down the track to stereo.

If you use the "Playback Correction" option, does it correct it?

Not according to what the system is telling us:

01-24 22:29:02.292 16437 16437 I System.out: Max Audio Channels reported as: 2

But I have not set it to downmix it is set to direct audio stream.

Yes but your system reports it will only handle a stereo input so that is what we give it.

I should rename the "direct" setting to "auto" because that's what it really is.

When I play the file it still says Dolby and it is direct streaming when I look in my server dashboard. My TV is set to just pass the audio through.

And my Sonos playbar reports that it is receiving Dolby 5.1 signal.

That's not what was happening in the log you sent above but, perhaps, that was after you already had changed the option.

I have not changed anything,But I can try again just to be sure.

It seems to me that something is reported wrong in the log?
