jonescrusher 1 Posted December 14, 2017 Share Posted December 14, 2017 The latest version of CoverArt does not display covers for 4K/UHD content. Instead I get the generic film strip. I have settings checked for "Cover by definition instead of type (UHD/HD/SD)". I only have a few 4K files and all of them are VP9 encoded. Is their a problem with Emby or Coverart parsing VP9 or is their a setting I am missing? Note that all of the files play just fine under emby it is just the CoverArt/Emby visual display. ebr 14948 Posted December 14, 2017 Share Posted December 14, 2017 If you are seeing a film strip then I'm guessing these items don't have posters and, instead, have screen-capture thumbs. There is no thumb treatment with resolution or type on it (but you could put an overlay for the resolution on them).
