Trouble Identifying Tv show in Emby

I have been having trouble identifying a tv show to link its metadata and just make my life easier I already checked https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV%20naming the tv naming guide followed the first one you see and still cannot identify the show in emby. Why?

We don't know, you didn't provide any details.

 

Most likely your naming doesn't match either Emby's needs, the naming doesn't match TVDBs needs, or the show doesn't exist in the metadata sources.

 

You say you followed the naming wiki.  Go to https://www.thetvdb.com/ and make sure your show exists, that your naming matches theirs, and that there isn't already an NFO in the series and season folders.

My mistake. Really is a silly one it was that it was clicking an individual episode instead of the series to identify but thanks for trying to help.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes you only need to identify at the series level. From there, episodes are driven based on their season and episode numbers.
