mastrmind11 717
Is this version eventually going to replace the existing aptitude install or is it a hard cutover to .deb? Wondering because I've been putting off updating for a while and have some spare time tomorrow for a change. I want to make the switch, but will wait if it will eventually be incorporated into a legit package manager. Thanks
Luke 37186
Possibly, it's just not our top priority at the moment.
dcrdev 251
I don't understand this - the effort required to create repositories is minimal. It's literally just a case of putting the packages in a directory on a web server and running "dpkg-scanpackages ." in the case of Ubuntu/Debian and "createrepo ." in the case of Fedora/CentOS; It takes 2 seconds. I do it all the time: https://repo.dcrdev.com/
