Instead of a canceled TV series saying “Airs Friday at 10:00 PM on SyFy”, it would be better if it said “Ended” in red text.

The TV apps do have the "Ended" tag but doesn't the web app actually say "Aired" when it has ended...

Android, iOS and Web apps (Safari and Chrome) are all present tense “Airs”. Edited by Diedrich

that means your server is probably not aware that it has ended so you'll need to update your metadata.
