Netbug 26 Posted December 5, 2017 Share Posted December 5, 2017 I've switched over from an HTPC on my main TV to a Chromecast Ultra. Since I'm now casting from my Samsung Galaxy S7, I've experiencing insane lag on the phone. I'll start playing something and it will be fine. However, after 10 minutes or so, my phone starts to slow down. After 30 minutes, the phone is completely unusable and I have to do a button reset in order to use it again. I'm using the Microsoft Launcher (if that's important). Logs attached. Please advise. I attempted to use it this evening, but there was still the overheating and system lag. The beta may not have installed (I did opt in through that link in your previous post though). That's good to hear Local content seems to be ok. I'm just running a movie now to do a real test (I don't usually watch on my phone; I use it more as a controller). Netbug 26 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Share Posted February 26, 2018 After about 40 minutes, it seems decent. A little warm. Some fast battery drain (went from about 78% to 60% in 45 minutes.
