smerrikin 3
Server just crashed when a user started a transcode on a Corei5. I don't know where to start. The user isn't allowed to transcode as per their account settings. I has to restart emby via SSH and then I had to wait till the processer dropped. It was running 100% Attached are the logs. server-63647942400.txt ffmpeg-directstream-58ed0287-a725-49d4-8f96-0966bde04bea.txt server-63648021166.txt server-63648021279.txt unhandled_c5c187a6-61c2-4bc7-8f8c-c658c9e88289.txt
Luke 37186
hi @@smerrikin, actually it was not transcoding, it was only remuxing, and the user is allowed this permission: User policy for MOOCH: EnablePlaybackRemuxing: True EnableVideoPlaybackTranscoding: False EnableAudioPlaybackTranscoding: False As far as the crash goes, it's acting as if something is holding a lock on the database file. i would suggest rebooting the system. By the way i notice you've updated to the mono runtime 5.4. Please be advised that our highest supported version is 4.8.1. We have seen 5.0+ cause crashing.
