adrianwi 238
I've had a couple of examples over the last week or so when I've been manually running a specific library refresh where emby has become unresponsive and in the end I've restarted the jail its running in on FreeNAS. I thought I'd take a look at the server log, but not really sure what it means. I think this is the relevant block of code: 2017-11-13 08:29:13.692 Error HttpClient: Error RequestCanceled getting response from Luke 37272
Looks like a networking problem you are having that is preventing your server from reaching movie db.
adrianwi 238
Thanks for the quick response, and whilst there is a chance this is caused by some problems with my network, I'm not convinced! I'm not having any other issues with emby, either with schedules scans, accessing media content locally or remotely and I can ping https://api.themoviedb.org from within the jail. This just seems to have happened on a few manually started scans over the last week. With regard to the other issue, I think I've resolved that by unchecking 'Enable DLNA Play To' in the Extras - DLNA settings. The offending Philips Fidelio speaker isn't being registered as a device in emby and I'm no longer seeing the error in the log, with the added benefit that everything is working much quicker I had wondered why an Airplay speaker was showing up as a device but hadn't really given it much more thought!
