xilex 9
Have a movie file with subtitles embedded in mkv container. Subtitles are fine when played in web app or Emby Theater. I think Roku has been fine, too. In the iOS app, however, the subtitles are showing up a few seconds early and also looks like it is not a fixed timing error. Sometimes ~2-3sec, sometimes just 1sec. It looks like in all instances it is doing a direct stream. Anyone else with similar problem?
Luke 37106
Have you reviewed the timings in your subtitle files?
xilex 9
No, but subtitles are fine when played in web app or Emby Theater. Also fine when played in external player, eg VLC. Timing is correct if transcoding is required. Edited November 13, 2017 by xilex
