Dont clear whole library on mount loss

Hey i have a feature request / question (It is more a question, therefore its in this category).

 

Its about the Library.

 

I have the data for my library in fuse mounts which are mounted in another docker container on the same host (emby is in a docker container too).

Now, it happens sometime, that the container which handles the mount, fails or restarts and the mount disappears.

Then emby goes ahead, and deletes the whole library and the whole metadata for every object in the library, and i have to identify many media files again.

 

This is a bit... Yeah its a pity.

 

On plex this is handled this way:

When a file gets unavailable, it gets marked as "unavailable" in the web interface:

 

 

Is this in emby possible too? Is it already implented and im doing something wrong?

 

maybe there is a workaround i could do? For example, that i cache the mount on another folder, so that emby still "believes" the data is there, but its not playable.

 

A solution to this problem would be the world for me.
