Using { instead of ( in a video file name prevents Emby from recognizing and fetching metadata

I have my video files named as "Movie {2017}" instead of "Movie (2017)". Emby fails to recognize and fetch metadata for any file named as "Movie {2017}". If I change the file name to Movie (2017), the file is instantly recognized and metadata gathered successfully.

Correct.  We do not support that convention.
