NAS with HDMI or go with DLNA?

Hi guys,

 

So I recently built myself a small form factor gaming PC in an Ncase chassi and it's beatiful - however, I'm now extremely bothered by the sound my 2TB harddrive (movie storage) is making so I'm now looking for a NAS and I'd like to ask for some advice...

I'm currently streaming from this PC to my Samsung TV and it's great, besides the noise from my harddrive and the ability to restart the device whenever I'd ike if someone is watching. I also noticed that the community app for Samsung TVs will no longer be updated.

 

First of all I'd like to ask if there's any difference in picture quality from using HDMI to streaming the movies/series over WiFi? As I said, it currently works great and my network is well managed, but I'd still like to know if there's anything to gain.

Secondly if there is a NAS setup that anyone could recommend with Emby? I think a 2-bay storage is enough for me. Oh, and it also needs to be able to run torrents
