Starkadius 219
http://www.youtube.com/watch?list=UU_d7EY0NrcEM715w2n6yVZg&v=7keDjSpFbO4 ..controls a long list of devices including the Apple TV, Roku or Xbox One, with support for IR, RF and Bluetooth. This means you can hide the (included) Hub away in a cabinet with your receiver, game consoles and set-top boxes with little regard for where the remote is pointed. The keyboard makes quick work of searching for content when connected to a PC or Mac as well as media streamers and game consoles. Like any Harmony remote, it makes controlling up to eight devices in your home theater simple via Activities, and has buttons to control playback as well as volume. Looks interesting I suppose, combining a remote with keyboard. Would anyone here actually consider this? Source
cylon 15
Meh, doesn't look like it is backlit and looks cheap. What happened to the over engineering of the Dinovo Edge? I am typing on one right now, if it had backlit keys nothing else could compete with it. I am waiting on the Rapoo E9090P: http://www.rapoo.com/ProductShow.aspx?PID=BbkPecyolQg%3D Wireless QI charging Adjustable backlit keys Large touch surface Edit: The New Zealand Facebook page says the Rapoo E9090P will be released at the end of April. If Apple had a wireless backlit keyboard I would buy one of these and permanently attach it to the trackpad: http://www.twelvesouth.com/product/magicwand Edited March 5, 2014 by cylon
ebr 14933
The keyboard looks almost identical to the Logitech wireless one I use now. I only use it when absolutely necessary, though as I still find a standard remote (Harmony One) much more natural for one-handed, no-look operation.
Aphid 212
Looks the same as the Logitech K400 that I have, which is $25. Only works with the computer, of course, but that is quite a premium for cheap quality hardware and questionable added functionality.
trusselo 220
I LOVE my logitech dinovo edge. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-diNovo-Edge-Keyboard-Black/dp/B000J43HJ8 had it for 6 years. considering getting a backup, in case this one ever dies. GrizzlyD 2
I need this or something like it. just need the range to be really good. Right now my dinovo and other wireless mini keyboards fail to work in my theater room. a distance of 15' through equipment rack and walls.
cylon 15
Still no sign of the Rapoo E9090P but Logitech have just announced a new wireless backlit keyboard with touchpad - K830:http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/living-room-keyboard-k830
Deihmos 147
Looks like my $20.00 Logitech K400. What I really would like to see is remote support in windows 8 apps. Some are really nice on the big screen but requires a keyboard. Edited April 10, 2014 by Deihmos
