h45e 1
Hi, I have installed Windows 10 with WMC. Before anyone says why, I have got a Mrs that likes the feel and the ease of WMC so my hands are tied with that. I have installed Emby for WMC and Shark 007. When I go into the Emby program it works fine, but when I choose a video to play it doesnt come up with the loading circle thing and also after a while it will play the sound but no video. When I play it directly through wmc, it works fine (right click, open with...) I have attached my log files, if anyone got a solution I would be happy and my wife will stop nagging that this doesnt work. ebr 14913
Hi. You need to setup the network paths in the library setup such that the WMC machine can access the media directly. Please see: Optional Network Path and let us know if this solves your problem. Thanks.
h45e 1
Hi, I currently got it pointing to the Server share atm, see attachment. So I should create network drives and link emby to them instead?
ebr 14913
You just need to make sure the user/machine running EMC has direct access to that location using that exact UNC path. At the moment, it doesn't appear that it does.
