fbrassin 35
Hello, i have two servers, both can be connected via web ui locally, but when i try to connect from remote via http://app.emby.media i can connect just to 1 of them while for the other i have the message you can see in attach. Is there something i have to set to connect from remote? From remote i can connect to that server if i connect via putty to server opening a tunnel. Luke 37119
I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter. Please try the steps listed there and let us know exactly which ones succeed and which ones fail. Thanks.
fbrassin 35
OK, the problem is surely that i didn't open port on my router. I supposed it was like plex where i didn't have to open any port.
Luke 37119
In Plex you do have to open ports, they just open them for you. Same thing.
fbrassin 35
OK, tnx. I've just opened port, and now all is ok. Do you suggest to open only https or also http one?

Luke 37119
Ok, you will need that in order to use SSL. We recommend LetsEncrypt.
