costan 0
Ciao, I noticed that transcoding is always on for TVHeadend LiveTV streams, and I can understand that MPEG2 TS streams need to be transcoded for most streams, but HD streams are already in H.264 with usually AC-3 or MPEG audio. This means that usually browser or chromecast should be able to reproduce as is.. worst case would be a container change. Do you emby guys think this would be feasible? My (little) server is able to transcode SD stream with a relatively bearable impact, while HD stutters almost anytime with live TV (with stored content is a little better mainly for buffer, I guess).
