Problems with multichannel sound on Philips tv

I installed the Emby app on my Philips 49PUS7150/12 tv, but I got some problems with multichannel sound.

 

I don't think it is a problem with Emby, because multichannel from my old Samsung bluray player, running the Emby app works fine.

 

But I have set the tv to multichannel pass-through output, so as far as I can read, it should output the sound over one of the HDMI ARC ports, and it does so too, but it is just a bunch of choppy sounds, and my receiver intercept it as 2.0 channels. If I set the Emby app to stereo, sound works, but is then of course only stereo.

 

Have anyone else had any problems with their Philips tv and multichannel sound, and also found a solution to it?
