ipmb 3
Hi, would like to use the seeking function on Android TV app and changed from direct play to internal player (disabled direct play and also VLC). In direct play mode (with internal VLC) I can watch all my channels (without seeking of course). If I disable direct play and internal VLC player some channels wont tune/play. In the log I see "Unsupported codec with id..." from ffprobe and the tuning of this channel fails: emby_1 | Duration: N/A, start: 90413.967533, bitrate: N/A emby_1 | Program 10301 emby_1 | Metadata: emby_1 | service_name : Das Erste HD emby_1 | service_provider: ARD emby_1 | Stream #0:0[0x492]: Unknown: none ([5][0][0][0] / 0x0005) emby_1 | Stream #0:1[0x498]: Unknown: none ([12][0][0][0] / 0x000C) emby_1 | Stream #0:2[0x87b]: Unknown: none ([11][0][0][0] / 0x000B) emby_1 | Stream #0:3[0x13ed]: Video: h264 (High) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(progressive), 1280x720 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 50 fps, 50 tbr, 90k tbn, 100 tbc emby_1 | Stream #0:4[0x13ee](deu): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, stereo, s16p, 256 kb/s emby_1 | Stream #0:5[0x13ef](mis): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, stereo, s16p, 256 kb/s emby_1 | Stream #0:6[0x13f0](deu): Subtitle: dvb_teletext ([6][0][0][0] / 0x0006) emby_1 | Stream #0:7[0x13f1](deu): Subtitle: dvb_subtitle ([6][0][0][0] / 0x0006) (hearing impaired) emby_1 | Stream #0:8[0x13f2](deu): Audio: ac3 ([6][0][0][0] / 0x0006), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 448 kb/s emby_1 | Stream #0:9[0x13f4]: Data: bin_data ([6][0][0][0] / 0x0006) emby_1 | Stream #0:10[0x1434]: Unknown: none ([11][0][0][0] / 0x000B) emby_1 | Program 10302 emby_1 | Metadata: emby_1 | service_name : arte HD emby_1 | service_provider: ARD emby_1 | Program 10303 emby_1 | Metadata: emby_1 | service_name : SWR BW HD emby_1 | service_provider: ARD emby_1 | Program 10304 emby_1 | Metadata: emby_1 | service_name : SWR RP HD emby_1 | service_provider: ARD emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 0 emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 1 emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 2 emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 94215 for input stream 6 emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 100359 for input stream 9 emby_1 | Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 10 I have channels without dvb_teletext, dvb_subtitle or Unknown streams and they work just fine in seeking mode. Only channels with this kind of streams have problems. Also I can clean such channels for testing with ffmpeg (ffmpeg -y -i - -dn -ignore_unknown -sn -c copy -map 0 -f mpegts) before forwarding it to emby and the log look like this and I can play this problematic channel in seking mode: emby_1 | Duration: N/A, start: 1.400000, bitrate: N/A emby_1 | Program 1 emby_1 | Metadata: emby_1 | service_name : Service01 emby_1 | service_provider: FFmpeg emby_1 | Stream #0:0[0x100]: Video: h264 (High) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(progressive), 1280x720 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 50 fps, 50 tbr, 90k tbn, 100 tbc emby_1 | Stream #0:1[0x101](deu): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, stereo, s16p, 256 kb/s emby_1 | Stream #0:2[0x102](mis): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, stereo, s16p, 256 kb/s emby_1 | Stream #0:3[0x103](deu): Audio: ac3 ([129][0][0][0] / 0x0081), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 448 kb/s On server side I use version 3.2.32.9 (netcore). On Android TV I use the latest app where I am writing this. Tuner is M3U pointed to minisatip (satellite dvb-s2 on Astra 19.2). ebr 14959
So in the instance where it doesn't work, is that the whole ffmpeg log? It never starts the transcode?
