darkassassin07 426
Im currently running raspbian stretch light on my rpi3 (ie no gui), after finally managing to get emby installed on it (figured id poke around see if I can get an easily movable emby tv) When I run ./et.sh nothing at all happens. The script runs for a few seconds, then finishes with no output or anything else happening... I may try the full version of raspbian, but I figured id ask if it should be necessary. Total noob with rpi and linux in general so this has been an interesting project for 2am Edited September 24, 2017 by darkassassin07
denz 426
You need the full version of raspbian and you need to follow the instructions in this thread to get it to work https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/42868-emby-theater-for-linux/page-1 this version is not supported anymore. darkassassin07 426
ah, I kinda figured that was the issue :/ thanks for confirming it. Those were the instructions I had followed, though i had to do a few extra steps like update npm + nodejs after installing them, then i was missing a few libs after messing with it for a few hours and finally solving the various errors, I ran the script and nothing happened... so disappointed. ah well, Ill give it another shot with full raspbian after work tonight.
