duplicate shows in library

is this normal? there is a default recording folder emby adds when setting a DVR path, in my case it's /medianvr/media/dvr

i want the recording to also show up in the TV library so i added that path as a second path to the TV folders. despite "Automatically merge series that are spread across multiple folders" being selected, i still get two separate items in the TV show library.. as seen in the screenshot (The planets, etc)..

 

 i am using Nextpvr plugin for the recording. originally, i thought it's because in TV shows the episodes are in separate folders (ie Season 1, Season 2, etc) so i setup the DVR to also put them into season folders and same thing happens. any ideas how to resolve this?

HI, in order for the merging feature to work, both libraries will need to be following supported tv naming guidelines:

In addition, the series on both sides will need to have the same sets of tvdb id's or imdb id's, so try comparing "The Planets" from the two libraries. Thanks.
