Guest worthington_j
I recently moved from a kodi sql database to using the emby kodi plug-in. One of the options on the emby plug-in is to "Cache all artwork". I'm curious what this option does. I noticed it will clear out my userdata\thumbnails but it does not re-populate the thumbnails as I would have guessted. Typically I use the texturecache.py script to pre-download the thumbnails on my Raspberry Pi's so they run faster. Is the "Cache all artwork" function supposed replace the need for the texturecache.py script? Thanks in advance.

Guest worthington_j
Thanks for the information. I don't think mine is working because my thumbnails folder is empty after the scan.
Angelblue05 4130
Just tested and it works fine here. Do you have your Kodi log? To cache texture, your web server needs to be able to be activated (kodi settings > services > web server). Let me know. Guest worthington_j
I ran it again to get the log file and this time it appears to be working. I'll keep an eye on it.
